One of the things I love most about makeup is the variety. My makeup routine changes quite frequently because I like to switch it up! Here are my 5 current favorites that I have been addicted to!
I figured I would start a “5 Current Favorites” series since I change up my routine so much. These products aren’t necessarily going to be new, just things that I have been using and loving. Sometimes I will use something and love it, then forget about it. I find that I get more use out of my collection when I “shop my stash” and switch up my products! I feel like if I am constantly using the same products they end up going to waste!
For my base I have been using my Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate with my Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder! The Marc Jacobs foundation is one of my favorites and I have been seriously addicted to it! It’s a concentrate so it is very pigmented and FULL coverage. I’m all about the full coverage foundation. This one is amazing because it covers everything on your face while barely having to use any product! I just dot this all over my face and blend it out with a beauty blender and it looks so flawless but also natural! To set that I have been using my Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder! I love this loose powder because it is not drying and it makes your complexion look so smooth. These two products together work like a dream and don’t budge all day!
For my glow I have been stuck on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped glow kit! I am a HUGE fan of all of the glow kits! The formula is pigmented and creamy plus you get 4 shades! This specific one in Sun Dipped has been getting a lot of use lately. At first I thought buying it was a mistake because two of the shades are very dark. It turns out I actually can use those shades in several ways! I have used the shade Bronzed as a bronzer topper to add a glow to my complexion and I have used Tourmaline as an eyeshadow! Apart from that, the reason I have been using this so much is because of the two light shades! Summer is a gorgeous pale gold and Moonstone is almost like a pale pinky gold. These give you a beaming glow and are so ethereal on the skin!
Above are swatches of the Becca Beach Tint in fig/opal and the Sephora Collection Creme Lip Stain in Nude Blush! These Becca Beach Tints have been out for a while but I just recently started using this one! These are cream blushes swirled with a Becca highlighter. I have been addicted to using this as my blush because it looks so natural! I use my finger to apply this to my cheek area and then I blend it out with a synthetic brush. This gives the most beautiful natural glow to the cheeks! Going with the more natural look I have been loving nude lips! This Sephora Creme Lip Stain in Nude Blush is the perfect nude for me. It’s light but it doesn’t wash me out. The formula of these liquid lips is amazing too! They are very lightweight and not drying! Mine wore for 8 hours without budging.
I am really excited about doing more current favorites because as I said I am constantly falling in love with different products!
