The glow kit unlike any other…
A different type of glow
I debated picking this up for a while because I already had 3 different glow kits. I figured, how many highlighters do I really need? However, when I actually swatched this at my local Sephora I realized how different this glow kit was from the others.
This palette gives off more of an iridescent glow rather than the metallic shine like the other kits. The shades do have some glitter in them, but that just adds to the etherial effect of the shades and it isn’t chunky whatsoever. I don’t find that the formula emphasizes my texture or pores either. Each shade glides on the skin so smoothly and with just one application they’re almost subtle which is a nice change from the other glow kits. They also look just as beautiful when they’re built up. If I’m feeling a more intense highlight I’ll apply 2 or 3 layers or use them wet.
Surprisingly enough, I find this glow kit to be really versatile. You can use the shades Eclipse, Luna or Lyra if you’re feeling a more neutral toned highlight. Or add the more colorful shades for a multidimensional glow. I’ve also worn the Spectra, Helia, and Orion by themselves and they’re beautiful that way too! The color isn’t too in your face so they’re quite wearable.
I’ve tried several of the ever so trendy colorful/holographic highlighting palettes lately and this is by far my favorite one! If you’re debating this one like I was, I highly recommend you go swatch it at Sephora or Ulta!
