KoKo Collection Review and Swatches
I had been wanting to try Kylie Cosmetics for a while and when I saw this collection I figured this would be the perfect time! This collection was a great deal as far as pricing. The Kylie single liquid lipsticks are usually $17 and her glosses are $15. So $40 for the whole collection, or $10 a tube, seemed like a great opportunity to try the brand! I do really like the shades in this collection. They are pretty unique and different from anything that I have! I had heard that the Kylie Cosmetics formulas were great and that proved to be true! I can’t see myself wearing these shades too often, but they are really pretty! Also, this collection was limited edition! 🙁
Top to bottom: Gorg, Okurr, Khlo$, Damn Gina
Gorg, Okurr and Khlo$ are all matte liquid lipsticks and Damn Gina is a gloss.
Gorg is a deep burgundy red. This is a really pretty shade however it applies streaky. I have to put on a few coats of this shade in order to evenly apply it! Not my favorite because after the few coats that it took to look even, it felt pretty heavy.
Okurr is a bright fuchsia pink. This shade is really pretty and unique. I haven’t really seen a lot of shades like this from other brands! The application is flawless and it feels weightless on the lips.
Klho$ is a medium pink nude shade. On some skin tones this would be a lighter nude, but on me it’s fairly dark. The formula of this one is also amazing and it went on smoothly without me having to dip the applicator back into the product!
The last one is Damn Gina which is a pink gloss with glitter. The gloss formula is really nice and not sticky at all. I found that it was really pretty when applied over Khlo$.
Overall I think this is a really nice collection especially for the good price! I don’t think I would have purchased this if I knew how intense they would look on me (oops). But I think the formulas and quality are amazing and it was worth the $$$$!
What do you think of this collection?!
