NARS gave us all a holiday treat with the new Narsissist Unfiltered Cheek Palettes
Nars released two limited edition blush palettes for $59! Both of them come with six shades in a mirrored palette. I decided to pick up the Unfiltered II because look at her, she’s beautiful! This palette has me dreaming of spring. Anyways, as I said in my previous post, I’m on a blush kick. Blush palettes are such an amazing deal especially if you like experimenting with different shades! This one caught my eye because of all the beautiful pink tones! It may be the middle of December, but I’ve been loving pink blush!
Left to right: Conquest, Undefeated, Power Play, Hot Sand, Fame, Candid
Conquest is a pastel matte peach. I am super impressed with this shade because sometimes matte blushes can feel chalky, but this one was silky smooth! Very pigmented and bendable, too.
Undefeated is a pale pink shimmer. This is honestly the blush I have been missing. When I swatched it, I squealed and then proceeded to put it on my cheeks. I would buy the palette just for this shade! Stunning.
Power Play is a bright matte pink. This is another amazing matte formula! This blush is pigmented but not so much that would make it difficult to work with.
Hot Sand is a peach champagne sheen. I’ve never owned this shade, but I’ve heard so many people mention it! After using it, I can see where all the hype comes from. This isn’t your typical highlighter, it’s more of a glow. This is a beautiful shade if you’re looking for that natural looking highlight.
Fame is a pink amber sheen. The sheen in this shade combined with the coral glow is just stunning! The formula is very creamy and bendable and this will be perfect for the spring/summer.
Candid is a mauve raspberry shimmer. I’m really happy that they included a shade like this because it’s very different from the other shades in the palette! This is perfect for the winter months because it’s a little darker, and it gives you that flushed look.
Overall I’m really loving this palette! There is good shade variation and not one of the shades is a “dud”. Each shade is .12 oz which is just a little less product than you would get with a full size Nars blush. If you’re on the fence about this product, pick it up! You won’t regret it.
