Natasha Denona Diamond & Blush Palette Review and Swatches

“A new multidimensional texture palette for cheeks inspired by Natasha’s famous glow system”

Where do I even begin? When I saw that Natasha Denona was releasing her Spring ’18 collection I think my heart actually skipped a beat. After purchasing several of her eyeshadow palettes, I have come to the conclusion that her products simply can’t be beat. There’s so much quality in each of her products and it really shows when you apply them. This was my first “face product” purchase from her and I’m completely blown away.

There are two shades of the Diamond and Blush Palettes. They retail for $89 and are sold on the ND website, Sephora, and Beautylish. I picked up the lighter palette of the two, Darya. The top row of the palette are creams and the bottom row are powders. I’m typically not into cream blushes, bronzers or highlighters but these are a different story. I applied the cream blushes and the highlighter over powder and even then they looked beautiful and seamless. Natasha said she created the creams and the powders in the palette to be layered over one another to create a multidimensional glow. I was skeptical at first because almost every time I tried that technique my blush and highlighter ended up looking cakey and blotchy.

I tried layering with the Glow Cream Base, then the Glow Extreme and then a light sweep of the Diamond Powder. I don’t think my highlight has ever looked that pretty. It was multidimensional and it had the ever so coveted “wet” cheek look.

If you’re into pink blushes, the Duo Glow in this palette is going to be your best friend. It’s the most beautiful pale pink blush I’ve ever used! It has a slight gold sheen but it’s so subtle that it gives the skin a healthy glow.

I wouldn’t recommend this product if it wasn’t 100% worth the price tag. In my opinion, it’s worth it. If you like a blinding highlight, pink blushes, and dewy skin, get ready to fall in love.

3 Reasons You Need the Dose Of Colors The Snuggle Is Real Set

1. Bang for your buck

This set is 100% a steal. The Dose of Colors liquid lipstick formula is definitely worth the $18 price tag . This set retails for $29 and you get three shades! If you’re looking to try out some Dose of Colors products now would be the perfect time!

2. The Color Selection

In the set, you get warm, neutral and cool shades. Let’s Cuddle is a warm beige that will look great on anyone. It’s a fairly light nude, but it doesn’t wash you out. Warm & Fuzzy is a warm/neutral rose shade. This color is the perfect romantic rosy pink! Lazy Daisy is a dusty mauve taupe. This is a very flattering cool toned shade. Mauve lipsticks are perfect for this time of year too!

Let’s Cuddle, Warm & Fuzzy, Lazy Daisy

3. Year Round Appropriate

Although this is a holiday set, each of these shades can be worn all year! Which makes it even more of a deal. These shades will take you from winter to summer! I love when a holiday set can be used outside of the holidays. It kind of seems like a waste of money if the shades are only applicable for a few months out of the year! Of course you can wear any shade whenever you want, but I’m a neutrals girl.

If you’ve been eyeing this set I highly suggest it! I purchased mine on the Ulta website and it’s sold out there. But the Dose of Colors website still has it in stock so get it while you can!

Kylie Cosmetics Nice Palette Review and Swatches

Kylie Cosmetics released their holiday collection for 2017 and in my opinion the brand did an amazing job. When I saw a picture of the whole collection, what really caught my eye were the eyeshadow palettes. Practicing self control, I decided to pick up 1 of the 2… With much debating I finally landed on the Nice palette!

This palette has such an array of shades that really anyone would love it. There’s cool tones, neutral and some warm. It’s got it all! I’ve used Kylie’s shadows before and loved them so I was pretty sure this palette would have the same formula. Luckily it does! The mattes are ultra creamy and easy to work with. They blend out really well and last all day. The shimmers are also amazing! They’re pigmented and very metallic. The shade Jack Frost is a really pretty duo chrome. It looks white in the pan but on the eyes it’s more of a pale gold!

I like that this is a holiday palette that can be used all year. You still get the festive packaging and adorable shade names but the actual colors themselves can be worn on an every day basis!

This palette is $44 and it’s still in stock on kyliecosmetics.com!! If you’ve been eyeing this I would suggest getting it fast before it sells out again!

Madeline
