Bobbi Brown is known for having amazing highlighters. My first purchases from the brand were the shimmer bricks which I absolutely fell in love with! So, I had been coveting Pink Glow for some time and I finally decided to spend the $46 and pick it up at Sephora. A nice highlighter is simply irreplaceable, so I figured it would be worth the money.
The packaging is the standard simple, black Bobbi Brown case with a snap closure. The design on the two “glow” highlighters is a beautiful almost patch work like design. It definitely caught my eye! You get .23 oz of the product which is less than the .4 oz you get with a shimmer brick.
The product is described as “a light reflecting powder that gives the complexion a high-impact, light-reflective glow”. When I first swatched the product in Sephora, I thought the color was more of a lighter, icy pink. However when I got home and swatched it, I found it to be more of a peachy champagne color with bronze undertones. The finish is less of a metallic shine and more of a frosty sheen when applied to the face. The powder itself is really smooth and soft, which is good because it doesn’t go on patchy.
This highlighter is not exactly what I was expecting, but I still love it! I think it would be pretty on anyone from light to dark skin tones. Because of the bronze undertones, it won’t look ashy on darker skin tones. If you are looking for a peachy, effortless highlight check this one out!
