Naturally, when I saw that Colourpop was finally releasing their Holiday 2016 collection I lost it. The packaging for this set looks like a record with the shadows inside. This set was number 1 on my list because Colourpop super shock shadows, in my opinion, are some of the best affordable shadows on the market. This set is $30 and comes with six shadows. Since this is a holiday collection, 4 out of 6 of the shadows in this set have intense glitter (YAY). I was immediately attracted to the beautiful purple and blue shades that come in the kit because I don’t have anything like them. After using every shade in the set, I can honestly say I’m obsessed with each and every one.
Left to right: Patchwork, Fairfax, Babykins, Desert, Thirsty Girl, Peekaboo
Patchwork is a turquoise with duo chrome glitter in an ultra glitter finish. This is a stunning blue with multicolor glitter! This is actually a wearable blue because on the eyes it gives a smoky effect with a pop of color.
Fairfax is a matte black brown. This was a shade I wasn’t too excited about but after using it I fell in love! This is a great shade for a smokey eye that you don’t want to be too dramatic. The shade of brown is somewhat cooler toned and it blended out beautifully.
Babykins is a metallic burgundy with pink glitter. This is a really stunning burgundy that looks gorgeous all over the lid! This is a great shade to create a simple but dramatic eye look.
Desert is a satin brown. This shade really surprised me because I think it may be my favorite in this set! This is my perfect transition shade but I have also worn it all over the lid. It is a beautiful warm brown, and the satin finish of this shade is stunning!
Thirsty Girl is a metallic bronze with multi colored glitter. This is one of Colourpop’s most popular shade and I can see why! This is a stunning bronze with a lot of glitter. The glitter in this shade really pops!
Peekaboo is a metallic ivory with silver glitter! This shade pairs beautifully with Desert. This is a beautiful soft champagne shade that looks pretty all over the lid!
I think this is a beautiful set! I am really impressed with the overall quality and versatility of the shadows!
What’s your favorite shade in this set?!
